Comparative Politics Journal

With the election year fast approaching and primaries starting in a few months, politics will soon be in our face at every turn we take. Annoying signs scattered everywhere, creating a garage-sale frenzy littering every corner. Yard sale spectacular displays of candidate hawking. The most difficult part is trying to figure out who really is the best candidate?

The biggest problem is the biased control of politics today–the media! It used to be you could turn to a newspaper to see the facts, and today if it's a train wreck, (unless the conductor was a family member of the newspaper), you can expect a pretty good, straight forward report. Not true in politics. Newspapers, television and radio, the biggest media outlets in the country are all in somebody's pocket. CNN is so Hillary obsessed, they make it appear she won every vote, made 100 on every test, and has already won the election. If she screws up (which is often) they spin it like she just saved your grandmother from jumping off the bridge.

The trouble with the news, is that, well–it's no longer the news! It has now become their agenda. Each paper in America has long strayed from the unbiased reporting of the facts. Now we read what the editorial board wants us to believe, not what is the fact. Ever wonder about the many polls that state the majority of everyone, anywhere, positively agree with their story? Only to back it up saying they actually know the percentage (usually always only .5 to 2%) of the margin they may have erred! The problem is, you have been discussing it all week and no one you have talked to, or ever met in your whole life, agrees with what they just reported!

Let's face it, the media now runs the country. This is done with the inclusion (editorial board) of the politicians who help serve their purpose, the pharmaceutical companies who can pretty much shove anything down your throat and tell you it's super-great for you (and then spend the next minute describing a horrible list of side effects, including death, stroke, heart attack, seizure, lifelong coma, and other things that might happen if you take their medicine) and people flock to their doctor to get some! The amazing power of media and the millions of people that live gathered around the TV has created a culture of politics by way of media companies. Like it or not, they own you.

So this election year get ready for some mind altering news reporting! Get set for some Hillary reporting to show her spectacular feats of success! How she beats every poll by anyone in America, how she can jump the grand canyon, swim the biggest oceans, climb the tallest skyscrapers, and do it all with grandma strapped to her back. No one doesn't like her, no one can live without her, everyone already forgot her husband made a farce out of any dignity the country had, and already, months ahead of any primary election, poll or whatever, she unequivocally won the presidential election in the United States. CNN has a margin of error of less than 1% to prove it. Thank goodness it's all over.
